Swimming at the Pool

Today we took Mason to the pool to swim for the first time. He loved splashing in the water and kicking around the pool. He was so tired, the pool wore him out!

We had our friends Ben and Crystal over Saturday afternoon to BBQ. They have a little boy Aspen who is 3 weeks younger than Mason.

Lake day with Grandpa and Grandma

Saturday we went out to the lake house to see mom and dad. Mason had a great time hanging out on the porch riding around in his cart!

Mason is 7 Months old!

Mason is 7 months old today. These monthly pictures are becoming more challenging now that Mason does not sit still!!

He sits on his own, has started to do a rocking motion , and will go from sitting to a belly flop in order to grab things out of his reach! He flips from back to belly regularly, and he will reach out and grab anything he wants to touch (hair and jewelry included!)

Time is flying by. Everyday he changes a little more!

Springtime Tallahassee 5k

Tallahassee has a big springtime celebration with a 5k race, a parade, food vendors and fun for the kids. This year a group of us ran the 5k with babies and all!

It was 45 degrees so we bundled up the babies and headed downtown to the race. It went through Myers park and back to downtown.
