Thanksgiving 2015

This was a different thanksgiving holiday for us. For starters, Dillon is a week old  and I am not working on the busiest shopping day of the year! Plus Mom and Dad are here with us instead of in Tampa, which is a special treat for me!

We combined families and vetoed traditional food for an Italian Thanksgiving feast complete with antipasti, raviolis, meatballs, sweet potato casserole, and cannoli desert. Mom and I did some cooking Wednesday and snuck grandma's raspberry salad and mashed potatoes on the menu because I can't remember a thanksgiving without them.

We had a fun day of family, food, football, naps and kids. It was perfect.

Fire Academy Family Day

Today the fire academy hosted family day. TJ has one month left in the academy, and he invited us to come and bring Mason to see the demonstrations and have lunch.

We had our first parent teacher conference last week. We discussed Mason's progress and looked at his work. He is doing really well and loves school.
