Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day Weekend Dad, Mom and Chris (Aunt Kis) all came to Lake Talquin for a few days. Mason stayed over to get some play time and Anthony and I visited in the evenings after work.

Pictures from Last week

Here are some pictures from last week. Some are the daily pictures we get from school, a few from last weekend.

Mason is learning to work in small groups one station at a time, and cleaning up before he moves to a new station. He is also learning to say the Pledge of Allegiance.

Third Trimester- Week 28 of Dillon

We are 28 weeks pregnant, just starting the third trimester. Dillon is roughly 16 inches long and 2.5lbs! Cracks me up that they compare him weekly to the size of various fruits and veggies. This week he is the size of a head of Cauliflower.
We are scheduled to have a C-section late November. In the meantime, we are getting his room ready and preparing Mason to be a big brother!

We set up Dillon's room next door to Mason's  room. Mason likes to go in and sit in the rocking chair and look around. He is getting excited to meet Dillon. The other night he actually felt Dillon kick for the first time!
 His face lit up :)

11 more weeks to go....

Fun at School

Our school went digital a few weeks ago. Everyday we get an emailed progress report showing what Mason learned at school for the day, what he had for lunch, how long he napped, any fun things from the day and also lots of other info. We also get a picture attached daily.

Here are the last few days of pictures!

First Day of School

Yesterday was the first day of school. Mason moved into the 3 year old big boy class. He was shy for the first 30 seconds, then jumped right in with the other kids. His teacher, Ms. Andrea, use to be his assistant teacher in another class, so we were excited he already knows and likes her!

Playing with trucks in the morning before circle time.

His classroom has multiple play centers.  His favorite so far is the science center. His teacher said he played a long time with magnets and a magnifying glass. His new class has a few more rules, structured time frames and gets to use the BIG playground!
When I picked him up from school, we stayed a long time seeing his classroom and hearing about his first day. He was so proud!

(Mom, look on the shelf behind Mason in the pic above..They will be using the wooden building blocks this year)

Yesterday was Mason's swim class graduation. He is now able to float on his own, kick consistently and is working on his arm strokes! He loved swim class and was excited everyday to go.

Swim Lessons

Yesterday we started our last round of swim lessons for the summer.
Mason did very well... He did not cry, he sat on the edge, he was kicking his legs, and listening to coach Kyle. He was very happy and very proud, yelling " momma look I am kicking".. From across the pool!

His buddy Aspen is in the same swim class.
