Mason and Dillon

Everyone keeps asking me if Dillon looks like Mason, and how big was Mason at the age Dillon is now.. 

It's funny, sometimes I look at them and see similarities, then sometimes they look barely related. You decide.

Dillon is currently just about the same height and weight that Mason was at this age. 

Our Trip Abroad

The weekly theme last week at Mason's school was "A Trip Abroad". They learned about different countries' food, culture, and decor. They also made passports and learned about traveling abroad. 

The school hosted an Around the World night event that we all went to.

Each class was a different host country that you would visit, get a passport stamp, and enjoy the food and decor of that country. 

We visited France, Ireland, Nigeria, Australia, Greece, China, Italy, USA, and Mexico.

Besides all the yummy food, my favorite part was the decorations the kids made all week for their countries.

 I forgot to get pictures of the Eiffel Tower art they made :( and a picture of his teachers dressed like mimes. 

MLK Day at the Jacksonville Zoo

For MLK day we packed up the kiddos and drove to the Jacksonville zoo. It was a beautiful day, a little chilly at 60 degrees, but it was nice to be outside and active!

This is what happens when you buy 2 rolls of pennies for tossing in the fountain but you don't get a chance to explain to your 3 year old to take the coins out of the roll before you toss them.... Oh well.

Dillon is 2 Months Old

Dillon is now 2 months old. 

He weighs 13.12 lbs (84th percentile), 22.5 inches (26th percentile). His doctor says he is such a cutie pie.

He is sleeping 5-7 hours each night and prefers to snack all day eating every 2-3 hours. He is smiling a lot and laughs in his sleep. He is vocal now, says "ooohwhattt" and squeals a lot. 

He recognizes our voices and faces, especially Mason's.
