Big Boy Bed
The closer Mason gets to turning 2 years old, the more mature and independent he becomes. On the cruise ship, the crib was too small for him to use so he was forced to sleep on a twin mattress on.the floor . He loved it. I was terrified.
Our Cruise
We had a great time on our cruise.
Mason playing mini golf
All dressed up his island wear for dinner
In port in Nassau
Private Island Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas. We had a fun day on the beach, it was beautiful!
View from the deck by the bridge
Walking the open decks at sunset
Mason loved seeing all the life boats
One of a Mason's favorite part of the cruise was the towel animals that were left on your bed every night

Swim Lessons
This week, Mason started swim lessons. He is in a class of 5 kids ranging in age from Mason up to 3 years old.
Learning to kick
Practicing 1-2-3 then putting his face in the water until his teacher Mr.Malcolm counts to 3 again.
Something else they teach is they let go of him by the wall of the pool, to simulate him falling in, and now he turns himself around and and grabs the wall to pull himself out.
The instructor gives out dumdum lollipops for their hard work at the end of class. I was hesitant at giving him the treat , but figured he deserved it after being such a good sport !
We have one more week to go!Tuesday, July 8, 2014
